Prokino Imme Buiten BSO

Prokino Imme Buiten is our brand-new after-school care centre, located in a former scouting building on the edge of Ugchelen, right next to the forest. We are a true nature BSO: outdoor play, building huts, making campfires and exploring the world together are at the heart of everything we do. With a single vertical group of up to 20 children, every child has the space to be themselves and move freely. Our outdoor specialist and chef Dijarco picks the children up by cargo bike from the Touwlader/Bouwhof, Eloys and De Eendracht schools. After that we head into the woods or stay on our own grounds. We do not use pre-programmed toys; the children search for materials themselves, invent games and thus learn to cooperate and think creatively. Would you rather stay inside for a while to read a book or play a game? That is perfectly fine too. During holidays we are already open from 7.30 am to 6.00 pm and on request we stay open until 6.30 pm on weekdays. We also offer before-school care from 7.00 am. Soon the children will be able to help with cooking themselves and enjoy a homemade meal outside on rugs. At Imme Buiten, children come home with dirty hands, rosy cheeks and sparkles in their eyes. We take them away from the school environment and away from screens, so they can romp, discover and grow in nature.
