Prokino Fatima BSO

Welcome to BSO Prokino Fatima, a warm and small-scale after-school care centre in the Schiebroek district of Rotterdam. We are located within Fatima primary school at Larikslaan 192, a partnership we have proudly maintained since 2008. Our BSO offers a place for up to twenty children in one vertical group, allowing us to give genuine personal attention and create a familiar, homely atmosphere. After school, our qualified pedagogical staff collect the children from their classrooms. The youngest children are escorted from class to the BSO room, while older children make their own way. Every afternoon begins with a moment of calm: a drink and fresh fruit are ready, so the children can unwind after their school day. Afterwards, they can choose from various activities or simply enjoy free play. We use the BSO Activity Programme ‘DOEN!’, developed by Prokino. This programme offers themed activities tailored to the world of children aged 4 to 12. Think of arts and crafts, games, reading, as well as sports activities in the gym or outside on the school playground. We also love to accompany children to the nearby local cultural centre Castagnet for extra challenging activities. Our permanent staff have been with Prokino for many years and, together with a committed team of regular substitutes, form a close-knit team. This means your child always sees a familiar face. Children with additional care needs are also very welcome here. BSO Prokino Fatima is open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 14:45 to 18:30. For care on Wednesday and Friday and during school holidays, we work together with our larger sister location Prokino Ketelbinkie Schiebroek, just a few minutes’ walk away. This allows us to offer flexible and continuous care, tailored to your family situation.
