Prinsheerlijk

Welcome to Buitenschoolse opvang Prinsheerlijk, located in community centre De Dobbelsteen at Doelen 36 in the heart of Princenhage. We are a Kober childcare BSO site offering after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 who attend Sinte Maerte primary school right across the street. Space is abundant! Children can move freely through four connected group rooms after the daily drink-and-snack moment. In the back garden they explore sand and water play, while the front square is ideal for football and basketball. With parental consent they may also visit the nearby playground or join neighbourhood games such as Jachtseizoen. Our activities are playful yet focused on independence. We use the DoenKids programme, a database full of ideas, so every day is different. One afternoon we run a hockey clinic in the school gym, the next children are woodworking or painting in our studio. There is always room to simply read a book, go inline skating or play a game of pool in our cosy living-room corner. We pick up and drop off children at Sinte Maerte, make use of the school gym and regularly hire the nearby sports hall to ensure plenty of sporting and creative challenges. Together with the team the children decide what they want to do each day – from dress-up games to themed weeks – making every afternoon an adventure.
