it Berneplakje

Welcome to it Berneplakje, our after-school care location at Buorsterwyk 36 in Lippenhuizen. We are part of Kinderwoud, a social childcare organization active throughout Friesland. At it Berneplakje, we provide after-school care for up to 20 children aged 4 to 13 years. We work from Kinderwoud's pillars: learning through play, movement, music and healthy nutrition. Our pedagogical staff provide a warm, secure atmosphere in which every child has room to develop. Every child is GEZien! These core values are central to everything we do: Security, Individuality and Self-development. Our activity program is compiled through DoenKids, our digital activity program. This always includes movement and music activities, creative workshops and healthy cooking and baking activities. We work thematically, connecting with current events and the children's interests. Think of themes like 'Do you feel what I feel' where emotions are central, or 'Backpack yourself crazy' where we travel to different countries during summer. Parents receive the program via the Parent App and are kept informed of all activities and developments. We work closely with schools in the area to ensure a smooth transition from school to after-school care. At it Berneplakje, we make every day a beautiful day for your child!
