Popeye in De Meridiaan

Popeye in De Meridiaan is an after-school care facility (BSO) located in the De Meridiaan community school at Prinses Beatrixlaan 156D in Diemen. As part of the Stichting BSO Popeye foundation, we provide care for children aged 4 to 13, offering both after-school care and holiday care. Our location has 44 childcare places and has been registered in the National Childcare Register since January 1, 2010, under number 385024769. We believe that time after school is free time for children. Therefore, we provide a safe foundation where children can relax, have fun, and be themselves. We guide children in their play and offer activities where they experience all kinds of things. Through play, they discover what they can do and enjoy, while building friendships and learning to deal with different situations. Our pedagogical staff are ready to give children the space to play while providing guidance when needed. We find it important that everyone feels comfortable and safe with us, that children feel seen and heard, and that they can be who they are. This applies to children, parents, and staff. Popeye in De Meridiaan works closely with De Nieuwe Kring primary school, located at the same address. Children can walk directly to the after-school care with our pedagogical staff after school, ensuring a smooth transition from school to care. We provide care on school days and during holidays, offering a varied program of activities that match the interests and developmental needs of the children.
