BSO Plein Oost Op Stoom

BSO Plein Oost Op Stoom is located inside the Martin Luther King School building at Van Zeggelenplein 31B in Haarlem. We provide after-school care for up to 44 children aged 4 to 12. Our location has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since 17 August 2014 under number 180449163. We are open every weekday from 14:00, right after school ends. Because we are based in the school building, children can join us without any delay. Between 11:30 and 13:00 we also offer a quiet lunch break for those who need it. Play-based learning is at the heart of what we do. We regularly bake beetroot cake, organise concerts using found objects, hold ‘don’t-touch-the-ground’ competitions or read piles of Donald Duck comics together. There is always space to simply relax as well. Our pedagogical staff create a warm atmosphere in which every child has room to be themselves and discover new things. We offer a varied programme of activities: creative craft projects, sports and games, cooking and baking, and of course quiet moments with a book. Fruit and drinks are included; we prepare bread meals together with the children. We take allergies and dietary requirements into account. Our spaces are safe and inviting, with our own outdoor playground. Children can play freely, run around or take a moment for themselves. We work with regular staff who know each group well and create a familiar environment. In short, every afternoon at BSO Plein Oost Op Stoom is a party. We look forward to welcoming your child!
