Welcome to Plateau bso Het Sterrenschip, located at Rondgang 89 in Assen. As part of Stichting Plateau Integrale Kindcentra, we provide after-school care (BSO) for children aged 4 to 12. Our facility is housed in a modern child center where education and care seamlessly come together. Our BSO focuses on providing a safe and stimulating environment where children can relax and develop after school. We use a horizontal group structure, with children grouped by age. Our qualified staff pick up children from various primary schools in the area, including Het Sterrenschip and other schools in the Kloosterveste district. Activities are central to our approach. Children can participate in sports challenges in our gym or outdoor playground, creative workshops in our art studios, or quietly read in our library corner. We regularly organize excursions to museums, theaters, and nature areas in Assen and beyond. Our garden offers ample opportunities for outdoor play and nature exploration. We emphasize healthy nutrition. During BSO hours, children receive a healthy snack and drinks, with attention to allergies and dietary requirements. We use the online parent portal Social Schools for communication with parents, where you can view photos of activities and contact our team directly. Our location at Rondgang features modern facilities, secure access, and a spacious garden with play equipment. We operate according to Plateau's core values: relationship, competence, and autonomy.
