Pippi's Kinderopvang

Pippi's Kinderopvang has been a trusted place for children in Wommels since January 2000. Our after-school care (BSO) is located in the characteristic building at ’t Bosk 26, formerly the home of the local Red Cross society. With a large outdoor playground and two BSO groups – each for up to 22 children – we offer plenty of space to play, explore and unwind after school. We work from a child-centred vision: every child is unique and develops at their own pace. Our pedagogical policy focuses on providing structure and safety so that children can grow with self-confidence. Ingrid Adema heads the daily management of the BSO, supported by an enthusiastic team of pedagogical professionals who create a warm and challenging environment. After school we follow a clear rhythm: first a healthy snack to recharge, then children choose from a variety of activities – outdoor play, crafts, board games or quiet corners for reading and building. We make full use of our garden and the village: there is plenty of room to run, cycle or build something together. During holidays and teacher training days we organise themed days and outings that match the children’s interests. Parents experience our care as personal and committed. We keep communication short and direct, listen to the wishes of both child and parent, and tailor our programme accordingly. Every child truly feels at home with us.
