Pijlstaart

Welcome to BSO Pijlstaart, located within primary school De Pijlstaart at Pijlstaartlaan 7 in Vinkeveen. Starting 1 September 2025, we provide after-school care in a familiar school setting. Our BSO is housed in the school’s spacious auditorium, where a calm and relaxed atmosphere gives children plenty of room for creativity and development. In addition to the auditorium, we use the gym and the outdoor playground so that children can let off steam and move around after their school day. We follow the Pedagogisch Hart framework of Kind&co ludens. This means we give children the space to feel comfortable and have fun, because only then is there room for growth. We encourage children to grow and discover by offering trust and space to be curious. Play is discovery and learning; therefore we actively provide an inspiring and challenging environment. Our care setting is a mini-society in which we care for each other and the world around us. A special feature of our BSO is the focus on technology and the future. Children are introduced to innovative developments in a playful way, stimulating their curiosity and skills. We believe it is important to familiarise children with technological possibilities at an early age so that they are well prepared for the future. BSO Pijlstaart is open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday after school. On Wednesday and Friday, children can attend BSO Vinkenrijk. During school holidays we are open from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., so parents can rely on us during vacations as well.
