Welcome to BSO Berend Botje Opmeer, located at De Akker/Boevenhoeve. We are situated right inside primary school De Akker at Meibloem 46 in Opmeer. This allows children to walk straight from their classroom to a familiar place where they quickly feel at home. Our after-school care accommodates up to 22 children aged 4 to 12. We are officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 409475221 and have been operating from this site since 1 September 2018. The De Akker/Boevenhoeve rooms are on the ground floor of the school. Children have access to both the classrooms and the adjacent playground and schoolyard. After a busy school day they can choose to play outside or take part in quieter indoor activities. Our team consists of experienced pedagogical staff who understand how important it is for children to feel safe and secure. We provide a warm, homely atmosphere in which every child can be themselves. Care is available both before and after school hours, giving parents flexibility in their working day. Together with the school we ensure a continuous line in the child’s development. We tailor our activities to what has happened at school that day and give children space to relax or to be active. In this way our care fits seamlessly into the lives of families in Opmeer and the surrounding area.
