About this care
AI
BSO Peter Pan is the after-school care location of Stichting Kinderopvang Haren (SKH), located at Rummerinkhof 6b in Haren Gn. We are situated on the grounds of Jenaplanschool ’t Wilde Woud and provide care for children aged 4 to 7. Our location has a capacity of 50 childcare places, divided into two base groups that operate across four table groups of approximately 10 to 12 children each. This setup creates a homely and manageable environment where every child has room to grow.
We exclusively serve children from PPS schools and offer care from Monday to Friday during school weeks. During school holidays, we are open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday; on Wednesday and Friday, children attend our BSO Tovenaar location at Waterhuizerweg 7. Each morning, our pedagogical staff welcome the children with games, crafts or play activities. They then walk or cycle the children to school and hand them over to their teachers.
We also offer before-school care (VSO) starting at 07:30. This takes place at Waterhuizerweg 7 and is only available in combination with an after-school care contract. During VSO, the day begins in a relaxed way, with time for play and creative activities.
Our approach centres on supporting children’s development through play. We provide structure and safety, while also offering challenge and space for personal initiative. Respect for the child’s autonomy is key. Our location has recently been inspected by the GGD and meets all quality requirements in the areas of pedagogical climate, safety, health and accommodation.Read more
