Thijlaan

We are Partou BSO Thijlaan, located at Thijlaan 14 in Oldenzaal. Our daycare and after-school care are housed under one roof, so children aged 4 to 12 can come straight to a familiar place after school. Location manager Saskia Lucassen-Zwarteveen and our team of pedagogical staff welcome the children every day with a warm smile. Our BSO has room for 40 children. We work with age groups so that activities fit perfectly with each child’s world of experience. After school, the children receive a warm and healthy meal so they can recharge for an afternoon full of play and discovery. The discovery garden is our little paradise outside. With a water pump, willow hut and vegetable garden, this green playground stimulates all the senses. Children can splash around, build huts, harvest vegetables or simply run and romp. We regularly take the cart out into the neighbourhood for a breath of fresh air or a nature treasure hunt. Inside we work a lot with natural materials and offer quiet moments with yoga. A music teacher regularly comes by to sing songs together, discover instruments and feel rhythm. We also read books together and make time for relaxation. We keep parents informed of all the adventures via our Partou app. This way, mums and dads can enjoy a dance, a homemade work of art or a discovery in the garden. Together we make every day a celebration!
