Tante Toos

Welcome to Partou Tante Toos! Our after-school care is located at Jachtlaan 7 in the centre of Delfzijl. The moment you step inside you feel the warm, homely atmosphere – just like visiting your favourite aunt. We are small-scale, everyone knows each other and the doors between groups are open, so children can choose where they want to play and learn from one another. Every school day our pedagogical staff wait at the school gate. We safely pick up children from Het Baken, De Optimist, CBS Ravelijn and Sterre der Zee. They put on a bright vest and we walk, cycle or take the taxi to our BSO. Before school children are also welcome at Tante Toos to play quietly or have breakfast. Each day your child can choose from a rich range of activities. We cook together, do crafts, build, read aloud in our living room and spend lots of time outdoors. In our cosy garden we search for creepy-crawlies, collect craft materials and make seasonal discoveries. We also run cool workshops and go on trips. Our oldest children can burn off energy at the sports BSO on the grounds of football club NEC. We work according to Partou’s six pedagogical building blocks: a safe climate, stimulating environment, committed professionals, partnership with parents, room for own initiative and attention to development. In this way every child grows in self-confidence and resilience through play. Parents stay informed via our own app: every smile, every milestone is shared.
