't Spant

Welcome to after-school care ’t Spant, located in the heart of Tanthof-West at Sandinoweg 84 in Delft. We are part of Partou, a nationwide childcare organisation with more than 35 years of experience. Our distinctive wedge-shaped building houses a welcoming after-school facility for up to 70 primary-school children aged 4 to 12. Our large green garden is one of our greatest assets. Here children can run, play football, explore nature or relax in the shade. The garden is shared with the adjacent day-care centre, so brothers and sisters can wave to each other—a small but meaningful moment of connection. At Partou we follow the ‘Partou Pedagogy’, which means we give children the space to discover the world through play. We offer a varied programme of sports, creative and relaxing activities—think football tournaments, crafting with natural materials, inventing plays or cooking together in our children’s kitchen. During school holidays we organise extra ‘holiday BSO days’ with excursions to places like Delftse Hout play forest or a nearby climbing park. We pick up children from several primary schools in Tanthof and the surrounding area. Exact school names are available on request; we adjust our routes annually based on enrolment. After arrival children choose whether to join an activity or free-play in one of our corners: a construction zone, a quiet reading corner or the creative table. Our experienced pedagogical staff are trained to see every child and offer challenges that match their development.
