BSO Serpentine, Toulonstraat

Welcome to BSO Serpentine at Toulonstraat 2 in Hengelo! Our standalone building in the Slangenbeek district offers after-school care for up to 80 children aged 4 to 12. We pick up children from IKC Hart van Slangenbeek, Basisschool de Rank, De Batavier, SBO De Stapsteen and OBS Anninkschool. After school we head off together on adventures in our large garden with secret paths and hiding spots, ride bikes and scooters on the school playground or play sports in the gym. In our bright and open indoor spaces children can do crafts, cook in our cooking club, experiment in the technology room or simply read a book. We provide a strong pedagogical climate where every child feels safe and seen. Our pedagogical professionals guide children playfully using our six building blocks, helping them develop resilience and self-confidence. For children who need extra structure or guidance we offer bso+. Every day we serve a fresh and healthy meal. Parents follow their child's experiences through our own app.
