Partou Dunantstraat

Welcome to Partou After-School Care Dunantstraat! We are located right in the centre of Borne, in a very special building: a former police station that we have completely transformed into a warm place where children aged 4 to 12 can play, explore and unwind after school. As soon as the school bell rings, our pedagogical staff are waiting at Jan Ligthartschool, Basisschool de Wheele, RK Basisschool Flora, Beekpark School, De Optimist and KBS de Vonde. The children put on a bright safety vest and walk happily with us to the after-school care. Back at our place, a spacious green outdoor area awaits with an outdoor kitchen and a vegetable garden. The children harvest their own vegetables and cook the tastiest dishes. ‘The restaurant is open!’ they proudly announce. Even when the weather is less friendly, they can still play outside because part of the yard is covered. Inside we work with one base group, the Daltons, for a maximum of 30 children. We deliberately choose a recognisable group and familiar staff so that every child feels safe and seen. After school they first relax with a healthy snack and a drink, then the children decide for themselves what they want to do: cooking in the outdoor kitchen, gardening, building, crafting or simply running and climbing in the garden. We are also open during holidays and teacher training days, from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., so parents can work with peace of mind while the children enjoy an unforgettable day. Everything we do – from play to food – is shared through the Partou parent app, so you can enjoy it at home too. In short, at Partou Dunantstraat every afternoon is an adventure full of discoveries, healthy snacks and lots of fun. We look forward to welcoming your child!
