BSO De Rank

Welcome to BSO De Rank! We are conveniently located inside Dalton primary school De Rank at Elritsplein 100 in the Het Broek district of Hengelo. Because we are housed in the school building, your child does not have to cross the street after school and can walk straight into our cosy group rooms. Our spaces are arranged with different corners and group tables so that every child can find something they enjoy. Younger children often play in the construction corner or do arts and crafts with paper and cardboard, while older children enjoy the gaming area or play a board game at the large group table. We also have a kitchen corner where we regularly cook or bake together – think homemade pizza, cupcakes or healthy wraps. In this way children learn about nutrition and gain confidence in the kitchen. Outside is at least as much fun. We use the spacious schoolyard with climbing equipment, a football pitch and areas for chalk drawing or blowing bubbles. Nearby there are also grass fields and playgrounds that we walk to when the weather allows. Every day we try to spend at least an hour outdoors, because running, climbing and playing in the fresh air is wonderfully relaxing after a long school day. We work closely with De Rank primary school. Teachers can pop in to tell us something about a child so that we can take it into account. In return, we also like to hear how the day at school went. This way our activities fit well with what the children have experienced that day. Parents stay informed through our Partou app, where we share photos and short reports of the day so you can see what your child has been up to.
