BSO De Horst

Welcome to Partou BSO De Horst, located right inside OBS Daltonschool De Horst at Glazeniershorst 402 in Apeldoorn-Zuidoost. Because we are situated within the school itself, children never have to cross the street after classes; they simply walk straight into our cosy after-school care room. Here they can unwind in a small-scale, familiar environment and fill the rest of the afternoon exactly the way they like. Our room is richly arranged with different corners that invite play and discovery. In the art corner an easel stands ready with paint and materials for every child who wants to express themselves creatively. Those who prefer to be a chef will find a complete kitchen to prepare delicious imaginary meals. The library corner invites quiet reading aloud or choosing a picture book, while the construction corner with large blocks offers space for challenging structures. There is also plenty of opportunity to play outside on the fenced schoolyard; you will often hear “Tag, you’re it!” when children challenge each other to a game of tag or football. We work according to Partou’s core values: a powerful start for every child in a safe environment where they feel seen. Our pedagogical professionals guide the children with six building blocks that playfully contribute to resilience and self-confidence. Through the Partou app we keep parents informed with photos and short messages, so you can enjoy your child’s experiences. Every day we serve a fresh and healthy meal, so the inner person is also well taken care of. BSO De Horst provides care on all school days from the moment school ends until 6 p.m. During holidays and study days we are open from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and organise a varied programme including crafts, cooking and sports activities.
