Welcome to BSO De Beestenboel at Polaris 36 in Hellevoetsluis. We are part of Partou and offer after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. Our location is set on a farm, surrounded by nature, giving children plenty of space to play, explore and grow. Our qualified staff pick up children from nearby primary schools after class. We work with three age groups: the Adventurers, the Buccaneers and the Pioneers. Each group has its own team that matches the developmental stage of the children. The focus is on outdoor activities. Children can play in our natural playground, build huts from willow branches, care for animals and play in the vegetable garden. We provide overalls and boots for all outdoor activities. In addition to outdoor play, we also offer quiet moments. There is room for creative activities, sports and games. We believe it is important that children can choose what they participate in. That is why they are given the opportunity to decide which activity they want to do upon arrival. There is always room for free play and personal initiative. During school holidays we organize a varied activity program. Think of sports, creative workshops, nature experiences and games. We ensure that there are as many familiar faces as possible and that children meet peers. Parents bring their child to the BSO themselves during holiday days. We value good communication with parents. There is a parent portal where parents can request swap days, book extra care and report absences.
