Welcome to Partou BSO Stephensonstraat 70A! Our small-scale after-school care is located inside primary school Het Kompas in IJmuiden's Natuurkundigenbuurt. Thanks to this unique setup, children don't need to cross the street after school - they can walk straight into our cozy group spaces. We provide care for up to 22 children aged 4-8 years from Het Kompas Lower School, ensuring they always play with familiar classmates. Our BSO features two welcoming areas: the learning plaza and the playroom. After school, we start with a shared meal at the learning plaza before moving to the playroom, which transforms into a dedicated after-school space each afternoon. Children choose how to spend their time: being active in sports, getting creative with crafts, building with LEGO, playing with dolls, or quietly reading. We also enjoy outdoor play on the recently renovated school playground. Following the Partou Pedagogy, each child has their own mentor who serves as the primary contact for parents and closely follows the child's development. Through the Partou parent app, we share daily photos and messages so parents can enjoy all the fun moments. Parents can also request extra care or swap days via the app. We're open during school weeks from 07:30-08:30 and 14:00-18:30. During holidays and study days, we operate from 07:30-18:30. We regularly organize outings to nearby playgrounds like Veilige Haven playground and Velserbeek. On study days, we sometimes visit Bunkerpad near IJmuiderslag, Children's Farm Zorgvrij, or Zeewijk Nature Playground. Together we create a safe, familiar place where children can relax after a busy school day.
