Welcome to Partou BSO Burgemeester Scholtensplein 1, located in the characteristic former town hall in the heart of Weerselo. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 13 in two welcoming group rooms, with space for up to 42 children to play, discover and unwind. Our building sits right next to St. Aloysius primary school. As soon as the school bell rings, our pedagogical staff are ready to pick the children up and escort them safely to the after-school club. We work closely with the school: teachers and our staff share information about each child’s development so that we can offer a continuous learning and care line between school and out-of-school time. Inside we have a large central room where we run creative workshops – think crafting, drawing and building – as well as quiet corners with books and board games. Outdoors, children can let off steam on our own playground or on the familiar schoolyard of St. Aloysius. For extra exercise we regularly use the gym around the corner and the sports hall & outdoor area Trefpunt, where we organise sports and games. We also love to explore the neighbourhood: we take forest walks for a scavenger hunt or autumn bingo and visit the local Plus supermarket to shop together for our cooking and baking activities. Every day we provide healthy food and drinks; fresh fruit and plenty to drink are always available.
