BSO Panta Rhei

Welcome to BSO Panta Rhei, our cheerful after-school care centre in the heart of Tilburg, right next to the playground of primary school Panta Rhei at Lanciersstraat 45. We are part of Stichting Kinderstad and provide care for children aged 4 to 12. After school, most children from Panta Rhei primary school join us; they are either picked up or walk to our adjoining building themselves. Everything we do revolves around play and fun. Children decide for themselves what they want to do: dressing up, acting, dancing, cooking, building, playing outside or simply chilling in the relax corner – anything goes. We offer a wide range of activities, both indoors and outdoors. In our discovery garden, children can play with sand and water, hide in the bushes, balance along paths or jump from stone to stone. Indoors we have different rooms: a quiet corner for reading, an arts & crafts studio, a construction area, a stage to let off steam and two kitchens for some great cooking. Our building is divided into two parts: one for the younger children and one for the older children. We follow a fixed daily programme that matches each child’s age, development and pace. The groups are named De Meeuwen (youngest children), De Eenden and De Peddels (5-8 years) and De Sloepen (older children). Rest, cleanliness and regularity are very important to us. Amid all the dynamics, structure and continuity provide calm and regularity, which children and parents experience as very pleasant. Our pedagogical staff guide children in making choices and encourage social interaction and friendships. In this way children learn from and with each other and develop personal and social skills. Our opening hours during school weeks are from 3 pm to 7 pm and on Wednesdays from 12 pm to 7 pm. During holidays and study days we are open from 7.30 am to 7 pm. We pick up children from Panta Rhei primary school (Galjoenstraat).
