Outdoor BSO Buitenbeek

Welcome to Outdoor BSO Buitenbeek, the place in Hilvarenbeek where children aged 4 to 13 go on a new adventure every day after school! Located in the scouting building Bellefleur at Bukkumweg 30C, right next to the Annanina’s Rust forest, we officially open our doors on Monday 18 August 2025. At Buitenbeek we believe that playing outdoors and experiencing nature is not only great fun, but also essential for a child’s development. Every afternoon we head outside. Children run, climb and jump across our large outdoor grounds, go on treasure hunts in the forest, build dens, make fires, learn archery or race on the mountain-bike and stunt-scooter track. Creative kids can always craft with natural materials, build in the play hall or quietly read a book. Each afternoon starts calmly together with fruit and water in our two large indoor rooms. After recharging from school, the children dive into the adventurous world outside. When the weather is poor we keep active in the gym with indoor football, volleyball or a challenging obstacle course. We consciously use natural and sustainable materials and choose healthy food that follows the seasons. Kinderstad works with all primary schools in Hilvarenbeek (Doelakkers, Driehoek, Starrebos) as well as schools in Esbeek (Torenlei) and Diessen (Willibrordus). We pick the children up free of charge after school with our minibuses. During holidays and study days we are open from 7.30 am to 6.30 pm; on regular school days we start after school and close at 6.30 pm. Our pedagogical staff are specialised in outdoor and sports activities and truly see every child. We provide a safe, challenging environment where children discover who they are and what makes them happy.
