BSO Ot en Sien

Welcome to BSO "De Bolderkar" by Ot & Sien, located at Herenweg 40 in the heart of Vinkeveen. We provide after-school care for up to 27 primary-school children aged 4 to 13 in one close-knit group. Our qualified staff collect the children directly from OBS de Pijlstaart after school and escort them to our homely group room; transport is always included at no extra charge. Free play and personal choice are central to our approach. Children can decide to craft, colour, build with Lego, play with dolls or cars, or simply relax in our lounge corner with TV. A quiet room is available for homework and there is a computer corner with game console. Our rooftop garden offers plenty of space to romp outside; in good weather we play on the enclosed schoolyard of OBS de Pijlstaart. During school holidays De Bolderkar turns into a real holiday club. We organise themed weeks full of water fun, gardening, cooking and baking. Our Ot & Sien minibus takes the children to playgrounds, the petting farm, the forest or the swimming pool. A children’s committee—made up of kids from both BSO locations—actively helps decide on themes, activities and toy selection so every child feels heard. We also offer before-school care. From 6:30 a.m. children are welcome to have breakfast, draw or play a quiet game before we walk them safely to their classroom. Shared meals are important to us: on Wednesday afternoons we eat a communal bread meal and during holidays we provide extra tasty and healthy snacks. Ot & Sien has been a trusted name in Vinkeveen since 2002. Our homely approach, close-knit team and open communication with parents ensure that children quickly feel at home.
