De Tandem

BSO De Tandem is located at the same premises as Public Primary School De Tandem, at Klimop 2 in Roden. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 who attend primary school. Our team is ready every weekday to offer children a safe and stimulating place after school hours. Children can join one of several care packages. The most popular is the Profijt package: care on two or more fixed afternoons during school weeks and two or more full days during holiday weeks, all year round (except for the period between Christmas and New Year). We also offer 51-, 48- and 41-week packages, so parents can choose what best suits their family situation. Our pedagogical staff work closely with the teachers of OBS De Tandem. This way they know every child well and can tailor the care to what the child needs that day. We provide rest when needed, but also challenging activities that match the children’s world of experience. Think of crafts, outdoor play, games and enjoying time together. During school holidays we organise extra activities and outings. We use the school’s spaces and playground. Our location is easily accessible and situated in a quiet residential area. Parents appreciate the close cooperation between school and after-school care. BSO De Tandem operates according to the vision of KidsCasa: children are given space to be themselves, to play and discover in a familiar environment. We believe it is important that children feel safe and valued. That is why we invest in a stable team of staff who know the children and parents well.
