Babino BSO de Jagersplas

Babino BSO de Jagersplas is part of the Integrated Child Centre (IKC) that Babino forms together with Public Primary School De Jagersplas in the ’t Kalf district of Zaandam. Our after-school care is located in the school building at Brasemermeer 23b and offers 38 places for children aged 4 to 13. We work with two fixed base groups: ‘De Waterlelie’ and ‘De Libelle’. De Waterlelie is used for toddler care in the mornings, but also has challenging play corners and materials that perfectly match the world of experience of our after-school care children. De Libelle uses a classroom in the school and part of the large hall. In the classroom, children can relax in the chill corner, do crafts or play with the doll’s house. The more active activities, such as the construction corner, carpentry and table football, take place in the hall. We also use the school gym for sporting activities. Outside, the children play on the large school playground of De Jagersplas, but also on the other playgrounds around the school. We offer an activity every day, but because after-school time is also free time, there is plenty of time and space to do their own thing. During holidays and study days, we work with a varied activity programme including excursions. Think of cooking for lunch, sports and games, creative activities and trips to the forest, a playground or the bowling alley. Our opening hours are: before school from 7:00 am until school starts, after school from the end of the school day until 6:30 pm. During holidays and study days we are open from 7:00/8:00 am to 6:30 pm.
