BSO De Klimtoren

BSO De Klimtoren is located at Kerkstraat 87 in the quiet, green village of Drempt, sharing the building with primary school De Klimtoren. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 13, both after school hours and during school holidays and study days. Our spacious, homely BSO area opens onto a beautifully designed schoolyard and, in bad weather, we can use the adjacent village hall which offers plenty of room for sports and games. We work closely with primary school De Klimtoren. Our pedagogical staff either pick the children up or they walk to the BSO themselves. We align our themes and activities with the school, ensuring every child experiences a smooth and familiar transition. Each afternoon starts with a healthy snack; around 17.15 we serve a warm meal for those who wish to join. Our activity programme is wide-ranging and tailored to the children’s ages and interests. We love to cook and bake, craft, read stories and make extensive use of the outdoor space. In addition, we use the DoenKids activity programme, offering sports and movement activities, creative projects and board games. During holidays we create a varied holiday programme together with the children, so no two days are the same. Parents stay informed about daily experiences through our Parent App. We share photos, reports and short messages so you never miss a moment of your child’s development. BSO De Klimtoren is open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 07.30 to 18.30; Wednesday and Friday we are closed. For before-school care (VSO) we welcome children from 07.30 to 08.30, after-school care runs from 14.00 to 18.00/18.30. We are open 52 weeks a year, except on national public holidays.
