Open-Up!|Fun-Kidz at Kempenerrandweg 9, Etten-Leur, is the place where your child can move, explore and relax after school in an energetic yet safe way. We are an after-school care facility (BSO) for children aged 4 to 13 and have room for up to 35 children. Registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK) under number 271107066 since 16 October 2019, parents can apply for childcare allowance. Our location is situated on the grounds of Rugby Club R.E.L., giving us direct access to spacious sports fields, a clubhouse and an environment that invites outdoor play. We work with two clear pillars: Sport and Culture. During Sport & Play sessions children run, cycle and climb across the grounds; they learn to cooperate, make friends and naturally develop their motor skills. Think rugby, football, tag games and all kinds of movement and coordination activities. We use both the school playground and the rugby club’s pitches, so there is always plenty of space to burn off energy. In addition, we offer Culture projects that last two to three weeks. Each project revolves around a stimulating theme and encourages children to discover, experiment, share ideas and create. We have a culture room with lots of materials and regularly go on outings: think of a visit to Breda Photo, a museum or a look around local businesses in the neighbourhood. We want to inspire children, let them marvel and enjoy art and culture. Our team of pedagogical staff provides a safe and warm second home every day. We pick the children up from primary school, offer a moment of rest with a drink and a piece of fruit or a toasted sandwich, and then the children choose whether to play sports, be creative or simply chill with friends. We work with fixed groups, so every child quickly feels at home and the supervisors can closely follow each child’s development. In short: at Open-Up!|Fun-Kidz in Etten-Leur we combine sporting challenges with creative discovery trips. We offer a dynamic and safe place where children can grow after school in an environment that matches their energy, curiosity and need for movement.
