Opaal Dependance

Welcome to BSO Opaal Dependance, located at Fichtestraat 7 in Rotterdam. We are part of gro-up childcare and provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. Our location is open on weekdays from 15:00 to 18:30, and on Wednesdays from 12:30 to 18:30. During school holidays and study days, we collaborate with BSO Opaal at Grift 42, allowing children to stay connected and play together. We operate with one vertical base group that accommodates up to 20 children. This setup gives children the space to develop at their own pace and learn from one another. Our pedagogical staff pick up children daily from De Mare primary school and guide them to our location. Older children may walk independently with parental permission. At BSO Opaal Dependance, child development is at the heart of everything we do. We offer a safe and stimulating environment where children can play, explore, and unwind after a day at school. We use multiple rooms and provide activities tailored to the age and interests of the children. We distinguish between 4- to 6-year-olds, 7- to 9-year-olds, and 10+, ensuring the activities remain engaging and age-appropriate. We value close collaboration with parents. Through the gro-up parent portal and parent app, we stay in touch about your child’s development, attendance, and any updates. You can also use these channels to report your child’s absence due to illness or holidays. Our location is equipped with a doorbell and secure entry system, ensuring only familiar faces are allowed in. BSO Opaal Dependance is registered in the National Childcare Register under number 322166317 and has a capacity of up to 48 children.
