BSO Op Stelten

BSO Op Stelten is part of Stichting Kinderopvang Haren and is located in a section of the canteen at football club VV Haren, Scharlakenlaan 26, Haren Gn. We provide after-school care for up to 50 children aged 4 to 12. Children from primary schools De Wissel, De Borg and ’t Wilde Woud are welcome. We encourage children to travel independently from school to the BSO; parents who agree sign a responsibility statement. Staff can still collect children if needed, preferably by bike to practise independent cycling. Children’s voices are central at Op Stelten. We regularly run surveys and children’s meetings to learn what activities they want. Our Children’s Council helps decide activities and play options. We offer indoor and outdoor activities such as crafts, sports and games on the playground. Children may also walk home or to sports clubs independently if parents have given permission. Our qualified pedagogical staff create a warm, safe environment every day where children can develop and relax. We are open all year except between Christmas and New Year.
