BSO op Ontdekking

BSO op Ontdekking is an after-school care facility in Sint Maarten, established in collaboration with primary school De Zwerm. We provide care for children from age 4 through to group 8. Due to the new construction of OBS De Zwerm, our after-school care is temporarily located in a residential house adjacent to the village hall at Dorpsstraat 9b in Sint Maarten. This central location is close to the school's temporary classrooms and playground, ensuring children can quickly and safely reach us after school. Our pedagogical staff members Marja and Linda are ready every day to provide children with a familiar and homely environment. Marja has been working with great pleasure at SKRS for many years and has extensive experience with both baby and toddler groups, and now with after-school care. Linda, who lives in Den Helder, has been working at SKRS since 2009 and finds it wonderful to work with children. Together they ensure that every child feels welcome and at ease. At BSO op Ontdekking, collaboration between education and childcare is central. We work closely with primary school De Zwerm, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care. Children can come to us for after-school care, but also for before-school care, study days and holiday care. We provide a safe place where children can play, discover and relax after a day at school. Our location is small-scale and accommodates a maximum of 22 children. This creates a homely atmosphere where every child receives the attention they deserve. We believe it is important that children can be themselves and develop their own interests. Whether they want to play, do crafts, romp around outside or just chill out, at BSO op Ontdekking it's all possible.
