BSO Onder de Wieken

Welcome to BSO Onder de Wieken, located at Achterstraat 5 in the heart of Nieuw-Beijerland. We are part of IKC Onder de Wieken, an integral child centre where education, childcare and playgroup work hand in hand. After a busy day at school, our after-school care feels like a second home to many children. Our pedagogical staff make sure every child feels welcome and at ease. We offer calm and structure, yet plenty of room for personal choice. One moment a child may choose a fun board game with friends, the next a creative craft project or simply some quiet time with a book. Playing outside in our garden is of course part of the deal; running, climbing and exploring in the fresh Hoeksche Waard air helps everyone unwind. We work on a small scale and know every child personally. This familiar base gives children the space to be themselves and to grow in independence. Our core values – cooperation, independence, reflection, effectiveness and responsibility – are tangible in everything we do. In this way children learn not only from us, but especially from each other. BSO Onder de Wieken is for children aged 4 to 12. We are open during school weeks and dovetail seamlessly with primary-school hours. Parents appreciate the convenience: no hassle with drop-offs and pick-ups, just one familiar place for both child and parent.
