OKC 't Opstapje Driewegen

Welcome to OKC ’t Opstapje Driewegen, part of Stichting Kibeo. Our after-school care is located on the same premises as Omnis Kindcentrum ’t Opstapje primary school at Van Tilburghstraat 41A in the centre of Driewegen. We provide care for up to 8 children aged 4 to 12. After school, children have the space to play, explore and further develop their talents. We work closely with the school: our team of pedagogical staff forms one unit with the teachers and teaching assistants. This means we know every child well and can seamlessly respond to what the child needs that day. Our green outdoor area is challengingly designed with a climbing frame, chill house, willow tunnel and water play area. Children can run, climb, build or simply relax in the fresh air. We believe it is important for children to stay in touch with nature and learn to play with the elements around them. After 2 p.m., when the school day ends, our after-school care time begins. We offer quiet corners for homework or relaxation and encourage active challenges. We regularly join the after-school workshops of Talent for the Future, where children practise 21st-century skills such as collaboration, creative thinking and self-regulation. These activities take place both inside and outside the school building. Parents experience our care as familiar and manageable. We keep short lines of communication with home and are flexible in our care hours. Together we ensure that every child feels safe and valued and enjoys coming to us.
