BSO Ocarina

BSO Ocarina is a safe and well-organized after-school care facility located in the heart of Overdinkel at Hoofdstraat 68. We provide care for up to 22 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our location is part of Humankind, a national organization that provides high-quality childcare throughout the Netherlands. Our BSO is designed as a pleasant place full of activities where children can unwind after school. We believe it's important that children themselves shape their free time. Therefore, we offer various activities where children can choose what they want to do. We organize fun workshops and activities both indoors and outdoors. A unique aspect of our location is the direct connection with nature. We have an adjacent forest and a newly designed experience garden/sports field where children can go for outdoor activities. We go outside every day, as outdoor play is just as important to us as indoor activities. We regularly cook together with the children, teaching them about healthy food and cooperation. Since our location houses both daycare and after-school care, older children sometimes get the chance to 'help' with the younger children by reading to them or doing face painting. This contributes to their social development and sense of responsibility. We collaborate with primary schools in the area and provide both before-school and after-school care. Our opening hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. We strive to make every child feel at home with us, regardless of age or background.
