De Gekke Geit

Welcome to BSO De Gekke Geit, a small-scale after-school care centre located in the meadows of Delft. We provide care for up to 20 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our location at Korftlaan 3A has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since 1 November 2023 under number 995662009. Our centre is housed in a cosy barn with a large, secure outdoor area. Children can play freely on the grass field with football goal, in the sandbox, on the trampoline or at the outdoor kitchen. We have our own animal meadow where children can get acquainted with animals under supervision. The play area is fully enclosed and easily supervised to ensure safety. At De Gekke Geit, nature experience is central. We experience the seasons together: in spring we admire newborn lambs and calves, in summer we picnic in the meadows and pick flowers, in autumn we explore the forest and prepare chestnuts or hollow out pumpkins. During school holidays we organise trips to the petting zoo, forest or nearby play paradise. Our pedagogical approach is small-scale and homely. There are a maximum of 6 children per day, allowing for lots of personal attention. We work with a fixed daily routine and clear rules so children know what to expect. The space is decorated in calm colours with warm wooden furniture. There are areas for playing together, but also for being alone. Upon arrival, children are offered lunch or a cracker with drinks, depending on the time. Fresh fruit is always available. We value open communication with parents. Before childcare begins, there is an introductory meeting and children can come to get used to the environment. We keep parents informed with photos and messages. Our opening hours are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 14:00 to 18:30. Location manager Saskia is ready to welcome you and your children!
