Norlandia BSO Tuinstad Sport

Welcome to Norlandia BSO Tuinstad Sport in Rotterdam, located at Abeelweg 233. Our after-school care (BSO) offers space for up to 56 children aged 4 to 12 and follows the Montessori method. We see education and development as one integrated process and guide each child individually. Children are encouraged to explore independently and make their own choices. Our location includes two groups for children aged 4 to 7, one group for ages 6 to 8, and two groups for children aged 7 and older. The oldest children have their own group spaces at the nearby NIO korfball club and De Meeuwen handball club. They use the sports fields of these clubs, giving our BSO a unique sporty character. Indoors, we offer creative activities and plenty of space to play and discover. Every child at Norlandia BSO Tuinstad Sport has a personal mentor: a fixed childcare professional who follows the child’s development and well-being throughout the year. The mentor regularly updates parents, creating a close partnership around the child. We offer care for 46 or 52 weeks per year, allowing parents to choose which holiday weeks they do not need care. Our BSO is part of Norlandia childcare and guarantees a safe, familiar environment where children can develop at their own pace. We work closely with the Openbare Montessorischool Tuinstad Schiebroek, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care.
