Norlandia BSO De Kleine Wildernis

Welcome to Norlandia BSO De Kleine Wildernis, a friendly after-school care centre located in its own wing of De Trinoom primary school in the quiet Carnisselande district of Barendrecht. Together with the school and the day-care centre we form one integrated child-centre, making the transition from school to after-school care smooth and familiar. We provide care for up to 76 children aged 4 to 12. Our spacious inner garden, vegetable plot and large schoolyard invite adventurous outdoor play every day. Whenever the weather allows – and it almost always does – we head outside to climb, scramble, build dens or bake mud pies. Indoors, children can explore creative activities or enjoy free play in a homely setting. We follow a warm, Norwegian pedagogical vision: children are given space to make their own choices and discover their own path step by step. Our pedagogical professionals guide them with respect, trust and a healthy dose of playfulness. Every day is about being together, moving and learning new things. BSO De Kleine Wildernis collects children from De Trinoom, Smitshoek, RSV Zuid, Lichtpunt, De Draaimolen, OBS Portland, CBS Vrijenburg and De Grote Reis primary schools. After school the children receive a healthy snack and can stay and play until 18.30. Parents arriving later can use our pick-up and drop-off service.
