Noorderlicht

BSO Noorderlicht is located in the Brede School Noorderbreedte at De Oude Werf 7A in Baarn. We provide small-scale after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 who attend the Montinischool or Gaspard de Colignyschool. Our spaces are situated on the ground floor of the school, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care. After an intensive school day, children can unwind with us. We have set up various play corners: a construction corner with plenty of building materials, a board games area, a car corner, and a chill-out sofa to simply relax. Additionally, we use the adjacent playground where children can run, play, and explore to their heart's content. Our pedagogical staff offer daily activities tailored to each child's interests and developmental areas. During school holidays, we follow a vacation year plan with themes and organize fun excursions to places like the forest, playgrounds, or museums. For parents who start early, we provide before-school care (VSO) on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 07:30 to 08:30. Our pedagogical worker personally takes the children to school and ensures a proper handover to the teacher. It's also possible to combine care at Noorderlicht with other BSO locations of Kind&co ludens in Baarn, such as BSO Scouts at the scouting grounds or BSO Sprint at the Baarn Athletics Association. We operate according to the Pedagogical Heart of Kind&co ludens. This means we give children space to feel comfortable, grow, and discover in a rich environment. Together, we form a mini-society where we care for each other and the world around us.
