Natureluur BSO in het bos Haelen

Natureluur BSO in het bos Haelen is located at Sint Elisabethsdreef 1 in Haelen and offers after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. Throughout the year, children spend their time outdoors in nature. We provide care for up to 57 children across three BSO groups that come together in a green, forested setting. Our pedagogical approach is entirely focused on being outdoors and learning through play. Children explore nature by investigating, playing, and building with what the environment offers. We believe that being outside is not only healthy but also stimulates children's creativity and self-confidence. Parents often tell us that their children come home with new knowledge about plants, animals, and natural phenomena. The location features a large outdoor area with natural play spaces where children can climb, build huts, and romp around. We use the immediate surroundings of the forest and the rural area of Haelen to organize activities that align with the season and the children's curiosity. Our pedagogical staff guide the children with attention and expertise. They encourage collaboration, independence, and respect for nature. We work with fixed groups where children of different ages come together, creating a rich learning environment in which older children can help and inspire younger ones.
