Naschoolse opvang Assendelft Kindertuin

Welcome to the After-School Care of Kindertuin in Assendelft. We are located inside the CBS Wij-land primary-school building at Pastoor Vermeulenstraat 31, Assendelft. Our BSO is exclusively for children who attend this school and offers small-scale care for a maximum of 22 children aged 4 to 12. We operate 40 school weeks per year and are open on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. On study days we provide full-day care when there is sufficient demand. Children decide for themselves what they feel like doing: table tennis, air hockey, ball games in the adjoining playroom or simply enjoying the outdoor playground. Together with the school we are greening the playground so the children can grow vegetables and pick flowers. Our pedagogical policy blends insights from Reggio Emilia and Rudolf Steiner with the Triple P approach (Positive Parenting Program). We believe every child should feel welcome and be able to explore the world from a secure base. Attention, freedom to be yourself and learning together through play are key.
