Monkey Moves BSO Rheden

Welcome to Monkey Moves BSO Rheden, our brand-new after-school care facility located at IJsselsingel 91 in Rheden. Starting October 2025, we will welcome up to 41 children aged 4 to 12 years. We are part of Monkey Moves Arnhem BSO B.V., a social enterprise that has been inspiring children with the joy of movement for over 10 years. Our focus is on healthy movement in nature. We are outdoors all year round, regardless of the season. Our location is situated next to a large sports park with artificial grass fields, an indoor sports hall, and a natural playground. The forest-rich environment offers endless opportunities for adventurous activities. Risky play and getting dirty are more the rule than the exception here. We offer a unique concept where children are introduced to 12 different sports. From athletics to baseball, from climbing and scrambling to team sports. In addition to sports, there is also room for rest and creative activities such as crafts and reading. We create a safe environment where children can unwind after a busy school day. Our after-school care collaborates with all primary schools in Rheden: Mauritiusschool, Rheder Enk, and Holtbanck. We pick up children and bring them to our location where a healthy, organic meal awaits. We believe in the power of healthy nutrition as fuel for growth and development. Our pedagogical staff guide children in small mixed-age groups. We provide structure and routine, but also the freedom to make their own choices. Each child can follow their own interests while we have fun together moving and discovering. We look forward to starting from October 2025 to share a sporty and adventurous time with the children of Rheden!
