Welcome to Monkey Donky Speelhuis St. Michaëlschool! Since 2009 we have been providing after-school care in a former classroom at St. Michaëlschool, located in the heart of Groningen city center. Our location is small-scale with space for up to 40 children aged 4 to 12 years. We work closely with the school, allowing children to come directly to our familiar environment after school. At our BSO, children can truly be themselves. While one child relaxes through play, another child may need active engagement. We offer a wide range of activities with creativity as a key pillar. Our pedagogical staff organize creative workshops and sports activities. We believe children learn and discover through play. Therefore, we provide ample space for their own impulses and ideas, enabling them to come up with solutions themselves. Our location is equipped with all facilities children need after a long school day. We work with familiar faces, ensuring both children and parents feel comfortable with our staff. Through the Monkey Donky App, we keep parents updated about the day with photos and stories. Parents can also easily arrange practical matters from home.
