Molukkertjes

Kindercentrum Molukkertjes is a small-scale, personal childcare centre located in the welcoming Indische Buurt neighbourhood of Amsterdam at Molukkenstraat 74. We provide after-school care (BSO) for children aged 4 to 12 in a warm, homely atmosphere. Our dedicated team of pedagogical staff run the centre independently and are committed to giving every child personal attention each day. At Molukkertjes we work with two groups: a toddler/baby group and a separate after-school group. Children can move between the two as they wish and develop, allowing siblings to stay in touch while still playing with peers their own age. We deliberately keep the groups small so it never feels like a factory, but always like a cosy place where your child feels safe and seen. Our activities are varied and creative: we do arts and crafts, play games and go outside at least once a day to our own enclosed courtyard. We also occasionally offer parent-and-child yoga – relaxation without fuss, just enjoy! For lunch we prepare fresh, hot meals so your child can sit down straight after school and recharge for the rest of the afternoon. Parents appreciate our down-to-earth approach: we don’t talk in long pedagogical terms, we let our actions speak.
