BSO Villa Kakelbont

BSO Villa Kakelbont is a welcoming after-school care centre located in a beautiful historic building in the heart of Maastricht. We provide care for children aged 4 to 8 years, offering them a place to play, relax and enjoy themselves after school. Our centre is part of the Integral Child Centre (IKC) Binnenstad and works closely with OBS Binnenstad primary school. After school, children walk back with our pedagogical staff through the charming Jekerkwartier district to Villa Kakelbont. Upon arrival, we set the table together and the children enjoy a drink and a snack. Our city garden is a green oasis in the middle of the city, offering plenty of space for outdoor play. We also regularly visit the nearby city park. Outdoor play is an essential part of our daily routine, as fresh air is both healthy and fun. We believe in learning through play and provide activities that match the children's world of experience. BSO Villa Kakelbont has two horizontal groups for children aged 4 to 8 years. The small-scale setup creates a homely atmosphere where every child feels safe and seen. We work with a dedicated team of pedagogical staff who know the children well and guide them in their development. Thanks to the collaboration with daycare Juliana, located in the same building, the transition from daycare to after-school care is smooth and familiar. Parents are warmly invited to join the parent committee. Together with parents, we continuously work on the quality of our care.
