BSO Ratjetoe 1

Welcome to BSO Ratjetoe 1, located at Jan van Salmstraat 5 in Born. We are part of MIK & Spelenderwijs and provide after-school care for up to 80 children aged 4 to 12. At our BSO, everything revolves around freedom and flexibility. After a structured school day, children can decide for themselves what they want to do. Our colorful spaces invite exploration. In the green room, children can build; in the studio (the yellow room), they can be creative; and in the blue chill room, there's space to relax. Outdoors, we use the large playground of De Wissel primary school, where children can burn off energy. The homely and trendy interior is immediately noticeable. Each space is playfully and inspiringly furnished with musical instruments, craft materials, games, and even a gaming room. In our cozy kitchen, we cook together and eat at a round table. Older children have a quiet space for homework. Children choose their own activities, but we also provide surprising offerings. From crafting to dancing, making music, or playing outside: we encourage children to discover what makes them happy. Our team always participates enthusiastically, as having fun together is central to us. During holidays, it's a real celebration. We often go on trips: to Kasteelpark Born, the cinema, the forest, or climbing and bowling. At Ratjetoe, it's truly vacation time. We like to think along personally with parents and provide flexible and reliable care. Together with KDV 't Boemeltje and OBS De Wissel, we ensure a pleasant, carefree time for every child.
