BSO Michaël

BSO Michaël is part of Kindcentrum Michaël, located on the same grounds as Vrije School Michaël at Esther de Boer-van Rijklaan 24 in Bussum. Under one roof you will find not only after-school care but also a day-care centre and playgroup. This unique collaboration between childcare and primary school offers children a familiar and calm environment in which upbringing and development seamlessly connect. We work from an anthroposophical view on child-rearing, combined with the pedagogical principles of SKBNM. This means that we see every child as a unique individual and follow a natural daily rhythm that allows both free play and shared moments. Our anthroposophically trained pedagogical staff create a warm, homely atmosphere in which every child feels safe and secure. We pay great attention to calm, regularity and beauty in the spaces and materials. Our after-school care is for children aged 4 to 12, both before and after school. We pick up children from various primary schools in the area and ensure a relaxed transition from school to childcare. The afternoons are filled with creative activities, outdoor play and enjoying time together. We work with small groups so that every child receives personal attention. Parents experience our care as a warm bath: personal, involved and professional. We are open to questions and are happy to think along about your child’s development.
