Max Havelaar Kindcentrum

Welcome to Max Havelaar Kindcentrum, located at Voorstraat 30 in the historic centre of Delft. Since March 2018 we offer a continuous development path for children aged 4 to 12 under one roof, where primary education and after-school care flow seamlessly together. Our BSO is run by Kinderopvang Morgen and takes place entirely inside the school building, allowing children to play, discover and relax in a familiar environment right after school. Our programme rests on three clear pillars: Culture & Nature, Science & Technology, and Health & Movement. These pillars are reflected in daily activities. Children can take part in expressive arts such as drawing, painting, crafts, music and dance, as well as sports and movement activities that foster a healthy lifestyle. Our science and technology lessons spark curiosity and teach children to devise innovative solutions, while excursions and projects keep them connected to the world around them. Our pedagogical approach is development-oriented and tailored to the educational needs of every child. We believe that children develop best through an inquisitive attitude, with fun, self-confidence and playful, discovery-based learning at the core. Together with parents and carers we provide children with the tools and skills essential for their future. Communication runs through Social Schools, keeping parents informed of their child’s activities and progress at all times. Max Havelaar Kindcentrum is an open Christian organisation where values such as tolerance, respect and social awareness are put into practice daily. We welcome every child and work in an atmosphere of cooperation and mutual respect. After-school care is available until 18.30, including on study days and during school holidays. Together we create a safe and challenging place where children love to be.
