MAM's Kinderopvang De Beemte BSO is located at Beemterweg 31 in Beemte Broekland and is part of the trusted MAM's family, which operates nine locations across Apeldoorn, Ugchelen and Epe. Our after-school facility is set in a cosy, homely building that welcomes up to 22 primary-school children (ages 4-12) for both before- and after-school care. We work closely with De Diamant Beemte primary school; our pedagogical staff—lovingly called ‘MAM’s Specialists’—drop off and pick up the children every day, giving parents peace of mind while they work. Creating a home-away-from-home feeling is at the heart of everything we do. After a busy school day each child has space to unwind. One may curl up with a book in a quiet corner, another challenges friends to a game of table football or explores our nature garden. We follow the children’s own initiatives: a simple idea for a knight’s shield can grow into a large project about castles, and an autumn walk often ends with a seasonal table full of found treasures. Small groups and a warm living-room atmosphere ensure every child quickly feels safe and seen. Our activities are varied and playful: arts and crafts in the creative corner, sports and movement games in the garden, nature discovery during forest walks and cosy reading sessions. During before-school care we serve a healthy breakfast and offer gentle start-up activities so everyone begins the school day refreshed. In between, children receive fruit and drinks, taking any allergies into account. Parents stay informed through our MAM’s Parent App: photos, news, the care calendar, swap requests and direct contact with the group are always at hand. Together we create a safe, challenging and above all cheerful place where children proudly take their stories home at the end of the day.
