MAM's Canadalaan BSO

Right in the centre of Apeldoorn, in a charming townhouse at Canadalaan 11, you will find our after-school care (BSO). We offer a warm, homely place for up to 66 children from school years 3 to 8, providing both before- and after-school care. Our cosy BSO rooms radiate calm and friendliness, so every child feels at home from the very first moment. After an intensive school day your child has all the space to unwind. One child chooses a quiet moment with a book, while another heads into the garden to climb, run or play a game. We work with small, manageable groups so our MAM’s Specialists – all qualified pedagogical staff – can give each child personal attention. At MAM’s, ‘doing it yourself’ is central. We provide a rich environment in which children are encouraged to try out their own ideas. Cutting and pasting, building, creative projects or an exploration of the nearby Oranje Park: we stimulate curiosity and independence. With our cargo bike or electric minibus we regularly make trips to places in and around Apeldoorn. Our BSO is open on all school-free days, study days and holidays. We work closely with the primary schools in the neighbourhood, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care. Together with parents we make sure every child feels safe, seen and valued. At the end of the day the children go home with a smile and plenty of stories.
