BSO MAM's Berg en Bos

BSO MAM's Berg en Bos is a warm, small-scale after-school care centre located inside the beautiful Berg en Bos primary school at Soerenseweg 105 in Apeldoorn-West. We welcome up to 33 children aged 4 to 12. Because we are literally inside the school building, children simply walk in after classes, staying in the familiar surroundings they already know and trust. Our qualified pedagogical staff – we proudly call them our MAM’s Specialists – greet every child with a smile and a listening ear. After a busy school day we believe it is important that each child can choose what he or she needs most. One child may curl up with a book or start a craft project, while another challenges friends to a game of table football or explores the school’s nature garden together with us. We follow the children’s own initiatives; a simple idea can grow into a grand project. A recent autumn walk, for example, turned into a complete seasonal table filled with coloured leaves, pine cones and handmade artwork. At MAM’s we focus on creating a home-like atmosphere. Our rooms are furnished as cosy living rooms with challenging toys and plenty of space to relax. Fruit and drinks are always available, and during holidays and teacher-training days we organise fun excursions to places such as the forest, a play forest or a creative venue in town. Parents stay informed through our MAM’s Parent App: a photo, a short report or a message about a new project lets you share in the fun wherever you are. We work closely with Openbare Basisschool Berg en Bos. The school day ends at 2:00 p.m.; we take over from there. We are also open on school-free days and during school vacations, so you always have reliable care. Together we ensure that your child has a safe, enjoyable and stimulating place to grow, play and discover.
